Building Connections – A Thriving, Supportive Community
At Our Lady’s, we believe it is vitally important that every student feels connected, valued, and supported within our school community. To foster this sense of belonging, we provide a wide range of opportunities for students and families to engage, participate, and grow together.
These include:
-
A whole school approach to School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support
-
Special intervention, enrichment programs, and extension opportunities
-
Lunch-time clubs such as gardening and caring for our school chickens
-
Exciting camps, excursions, and incursions that bring learning to life
-
A supportive Prep and Year Six Buddy Program
-
School wellbeing Hub
-
On-site Speech therapist to support students and families
-
A weekly School Assembly celebrating achievements and community
-
The Year Six Leadership Program
-
A Student Representative Council (SRC) from Prep to Year Six
-
A School Production and Art Show, held in alternate years
-
Special curriculum and activity days including Book Week, Harmony Day, Family Week, Multicultural Days, Sports Events, and our beloved Family Carols Evening
Through these initiatives, we nurture a warm, inclusive environment where students build friendships, develop leadership skills, and experience the joy of learning and belonging.
It’s not the curriculum that we offer that sets us apart...
....it’s the manner in which it’s delivered. Our teachers actively and passionately explore the possibilities of making their teaching practice more innovative, engaging and fun at every turn. This is the single ingredient that drives the most growth in our students.
Curriculum that Inspires
