Music and Performing Arts

Developing skills far beyond the classroom

At Our Lady’s, our Performing Arts program provides students with rich opportunities to explore and develop their talents in music, movement and drama.

Performing Arts

Performing Arts – Building Confidence, Creativity and Joy

Through weekly specialist-led classes, students build essential skills in rhythm, vocal expression, performance, improvisation, and storytelling—all while having fun and growing in confidence.

Our program encourages creativity, self-expression, collaboration, and an appreciation for the arts. Students engage in a variety of activities such as singing, percussion, instrumental work, role play, dance, and ensemble performance, all of which support both artistic and personal development.

A highlight of our program is the biennial School Production, where every student has the opportunity to shine on stage. This whole-school event is a true celebration of community and creativity, bringing together families, staff, and students in a memorable shared experience. It showcases not only student talent, but also teamwork, resilience, and joy.

Performing Arts at Our Lady’s helps students develop communication skills, confidence, and a love of learning that they carry with them into all areas of life.

It’s not the curriculum that we offer that sets us apart...

....it’s the manner in which it’s delivered. Our teachers actively and passionately explore the possibilities of making their teaching practice more innovative, engaging and fun at every turn. This is the single ingredient that drives the most growth in our students.
