Meet Our Teachers

When I walked through the doors of Our Lady Perpetual Help, there was an instant feeling of welcome and a strong sense of community.  I am honoured to be the new Principal of Our Lady’s and am excited to get to know all our families.

I have been in teaching for a long time and I feel privileged to be in the education sector.   Outside of work I enjoy travel, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.  I’m a keen Tigers supporter and enjoy going to the MCG .

I joined Our Lady’s in 2017 and immediately felt at home.  The staff, students and families were welcoming and immediately made me feel that I belonged.  I love how the students are accepting of everyone.  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and reading a book.

I love working with children and I get excited when they realise they know something new, like reading or writing, for the first time. At home I like to spend time with my three children.

After thirty years of teaching, the students, working in partnership with parents, smiles and those ‘light bulb’ moments when new learning is understood, are still a few of my favourite things. Outside of school; my husband, my four beautiful children, reading and mathematics, are the loves of my life!

I love working at Our Lady’s because I get to work with a great bunch of children every day. One thing I love doing outside of school is spending time with my family and dogs.

Our school is a wonderful place to work. We strive to create a happy, safe environment for all students to learn in. The staff work collaboratively in teams. My role is exciting in that I work with all teaching teams to support them in the teaching and learning of English.

Working with a mix of adults and children is what I love most about my job. What is amazing is the incredible outlook a child’s perspective can give you, as well as the mentoring and support fellow staff members can provide. I love it when the children bring the inner child out of me!

What I love most about teaching is being able to help and watch students grow academically and holistically. I enjoy the enthusiasm and energy the Middle students bring each day. Outside of school, I enjoy camping, craft and spending time with my family and friends.

I love working with the Junior Level students.  It is always wonderful to see the students learn and grow through these new experiences!

I started at Our Lady’s in 2018 as an emergency teacher. I instantly felt welcomed and part of a team. Not only was I welcomed with open arms by the school but by the whole community and before long I had secured a place as a permanent staff member. When I am not teaching I am Mum to 3 children who keep me busy with swimming and soccer sporting activities.

I enjoy working in the Senior Level because it’s such a great year to watch the students become independent learners and work together to problem solve. In my spare time I love spending time with my son, shopping and catching up with family.

I feel very privileged to be a part of the Our Lady’s community as both staff and families have been so welcoming. I look forward to getting to know everyone better and being a part of all the wonderful learning that is taking place. Outside of school I enjoy playing netball and catching up with family and friends.

I have the dream job! I love teaching Visual Arts. Students get to explore new ways of creating art and learn to appreciate and reflect on their own artwork and that of others. It is a stress free time where students can be proud of their achievements.

I love my job! I love working with the children at our school and the joy they greet me with each day. I enjoy providing them with sporting opportunities and working with them in and out of the classroom.

I love working with the staff and students at Our Lady’s School, we are all very dedicated and really enjoy working with our special students. The students are very respectful towards each other and it’s so rewarding watching the students achieve their learning goals.

I love seeing the students using their own initiative when presenting their ideas. I love seeing their enthusiasm.
Outside of school I love to spend time with my family and play team sports with them. I love playing instruments and going to different places.
